About PAPANIKOLIS BOAT

Boat capacity 47 people.

The boat was built in the most famous shipyard of Greece “PSARROS” by the same ship carpenter to give it the initial line of the traditional ship.

It is made of Samos pine, and generally its wood consists of iroko, eucalyptus and cypress.

When my father passed away, my son and I decided to continue doing what we loved so much!  The sea. That’s how I found the English owners of “Maria” and with a long process of documents to bring them back to Greece I became the owner in 2011 of today’s “Papanikolis. It was rebuilt and in the summer of 2015 it went out again for cruises in its native waters !!! It started with Scorpio Meganisi cruises and in 2018 we started the incredible cruise that we do until today with my son now captain.

The boat has fixed ladders on both sides for easy access of our customers safely and not moving. We also provide lifebuoys for children. children and adults, masks, snorkel, flippers and sea hammocks, for moments of enjoyment in the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea.

You need a towel and sunscreen and leave everything else to us !!! Boat capacity 47 people. Seats firmly around the boat to see from everywhere and mattresses as well as sofa in the back. We are in direct contact with people for any question they have to explain to them.

Our main goal is from the first moment you board “PAPANIKOLIS” to feel your safety and our wonderful hospitality from the business owner, the captain and the crew of the boat so that you can enjoy with us the most perfect day of Your vacation with joy, fun, experience, relaxation, impressed by the enchanting landscapes and the heavenly beaches that you will visit without crowds and other tourist boats.

We welcome you to our day ship “PAPANIKOLIS” based in the port of Nydri, Lefkada. “PAPANIKOLIS” is a family business, characterized by the Ministry of Shipping as a wooden (motor – sailing) traditional boat, with sailing 30 nautical miles and a capacity of 47 people plus crew.

The construction of the boat, according to the specifications of the Ministry of Shipping, is so as to provide you with comfortable spaces, stable seats, bars, sofas and mattresses for your comfortable and relaxing stay during the voyage. Also inside it has two comfortable toilets (men – women) with showers and a vestibule with sink. For diving enthusiasts, there are specially designed areas on both sides of the boat as well as two non-moving stairs for your direct and safe access to the sea.

The lifeboats are in conspicuous places and easy to use for adults and children for your safety as well as free masks and flippers for seabed lovers which are disinfected daily due to COVID 19.
